In a space where free-ranging of livestock enables households to commute to off-farm jobs, but where this risks attack by predator species, what encouragements lead to the best outcomes for livestock and for households?

This game embeds a relatively small amount of code into tapSquares basic functions in order to represent livestock that move on their own, following some rule, and represent predators as implicit via likelihoods of attack. It also captures on-farm use of time and effort, along with opportunity costs of effort (via off-farm income earned on unused effort). These mechanisms are likely useful in a game examining livelihoods and mobility tradeoffs.
