Agropastoralism model
This was a toy model built for a short workshop at the University of Kassel. We included a step-by-step guide that introduces some key 'netlogo thinking' concepts, and some pointers toward how a more complete model could answer helpful questions around agropastoralism and climate.
COVID-19 in the university
This model came out of a modeling course we ran early in the Pandemic. It can be run directly from netlogo web at the link below. Key teaching goals with this model were to consider when a problem is a truly spatial problem (i.e., viral loads shared in space) and when it is a network problem (i.e., social connection among people with some likelihood of transmission)
Agricultural technology adoption model
This model was included in a short course on ABM conducted at IFPRI Delhi in 2014. It includes a step-by-step walkthrough in a Word .doc file for the construction and unit testing of a simple model in which risk-averse farmers consider adopting a novel land use practice by testing at patch level and learning from their neighbors.
