Dynamic PES

Can dynamic PES programs that shift from actions-based to outcomes-based payments provide better PES outcomes (through improved innovation, engagement, and discovery) than any static PES payment structure?

This is a draft game developed jointly with Robert Huber of ETH Zurich to examine farmer responses to dynamic payments programs. The basic mechanics of this game are likely useful in other contexts where response by heterogeneous farm properties to intervention is of interest
