Modeling and experiments to better understand rural livelihoods decision-making
LUMS Centre for Water Informatics & Technology
To date, our collaboration with LUMS WIT has yielded one game (WaterGate) but two exciting applications - one with both upstream and downstream stakeholders in the Namal Valley water basin, and another with LUMS undergraduates.
Played under similar conditions, this allowed us to speak to the literature on just how much a life's experience shapes the way people play games, what it means to conduct games sessions with undergraduate students, and what different groups of people take away from a day spent playing these games.
